Bloody seventeen year old lunatics!

 ;D

Presumably, if he hadn't scrubbed, he'd have flat landed at the bottom?

Brilliant shots, Don't yah just love the bottom of the downhill... turn or end up through the fence and across the road... Try getting away with that these days in OZ with all the "do gooders".

BTW Brad, scrubbing a vintage bike doesn't look right.... :D

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

The lead up to the jump didn't lend itself to do much other than a straight jump and it was me who asked Brad to trick it up for a couple of photos. I would have thought that a few of his countrymen would have been pleased to know that he kept all the kiwis honest and commenting how good the boys from the great southern land are. The big round hay bale at the bottom of the jump did sort the boys out and it did take a liking to Brad a couple of times.
Overall the racing on the day was very top class and a very well run meeting.
Sorry that my photos don't do justice to how step the hill is but I can say that it takes some hard work to walk up and down it.

Hey DJ,
Good to see your smiling face back on OzVMX.  ;D

Those pics are crackers... and Brad just likes to show off.

For goodness sake don't ask to see his six-pack, you will be disappointed if you are after a cold beverage. He is half the man he used to be, but it hasn't affected his ego one iota!!!  ;)

I did think that the track layout was a bit odd. All that room to play with and the down hill run aims you straight at the pumping shed. Then again, I suppose it stops you running into the other paddock.

See you at CD9
VMX42

P.S. and you never finished the photos of your new shed... or are you embarrassed that it now looks more like Rex Hunts than Yamahas finest. Come on show us the finished product...

Awesome Race!!
Great racing, cool track and a very well run event.

Elvis (Brad) was on fire he hardly drew a sweat whilst racing in pretty much every class. The famous Davey Crockett was also on the gas and they both did Australia proud along with the "Mexican" Scunge, Old Fart and Bones Galbraith from the Gold Coast.

Great performance by all members of the North Island team who spanked the Mainlanders (South Islanders) and the Ockers.
Big thanks to Captain and Mr Vice Captain, Terry and crew.

I cant wait for the 2014 version ;D
