Been talking to Stan  - will catch up in the (later) morning. :)
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Pretty big rollup overall, pretty spread out too. Lots of superb bikes, more riding than you can hope for.  Today at 7 AM from Wallerawang it's looking good - blue sky, sun, no wind. Hope it holds for the day. Gonna grab some brekky and head up to the track for some more of that good old dirt.

Great pics there Steveo. Nice to see all those honest to God era motocrossers, trials and enduro bikes and not just page after page of those HL abominations.  :)

Drove up from Sydney today for a couple of hours spectating... Great looking bikes.  Awesome track to watch, haven't seen anything like this before.  Another great effort from the organisers.  I hope they consider this place again for next year.

The VMX Gods shone down on us yesterday with a warm sunny day.Even got down to a tshirt.
Riding tracks where full on by lunchtime and the fourteen legends where lined up to tell us of the best tracks riden and worst injuries.Best track-trivoli,toowoomba,wallan,manjimup to name a few.Injuries constited of heads not being central to shoulders and broken jaws.Time to watch the legends laps with Geoff Ballard showing us that he can still peddle well (and fit to represcent Aust at Farliegh Castle next weekend). Dean Burt and bike #3 also up at the pointy end.
The swapmeet for buyers, sellers and tyre kickers was bigger on sunday.I had a chat to one vmxer who had picked up a few hand fulls of OW parts, impressive to feel the light weight of levers and magneezium parts.  :P The usual smaller items where selling well.not too sure on big ticket items.Except some dude that travelled over a long distance brougt a sweet lookin RM400N.
Riders stared to vacate at about twoish with very little rubbish left on the ground as being a private venue we where asked a few times to have good house keeping. Perhaps to be invited back to cd10,but thats for another 20 page thread. ;D
We saw the Victorian vehicles  iced windscreens defrosted this morning, with bowls of water and wished them safe miles home.
Thank you to those for the loan bikes, very much appreciated and if your ever in the west come ride the best  8)
We now have the next future generation hooked :P  Was good to see quiet a few young riders out there enjoying the scene.
As always a top weekend and heart warming to see Ray Ryan's dreams of vmx alive and well in Australia 8)
cheers for now, we're off to hit the bike shops in Sydney town.

What a great effort by The VMX team and Geoff Ballard in very tough conditions at first, but come Sunday the Sungods were shining and everyone got more riding in, and then were able to pack up in great conditions, leaving with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. All looking foward to the next one!
The long tracks were awesome and could accomodate a lot of riders . After I'd gone for a run on Noel's CZ sidepiper I got a quick roadside chat with Greame Smythe about him racing a CZ in 73/74? (but he did get beaten by a Bultaco once or twice he said). He looked like he was having a ball and its a great that he got motivated by some good mates to come over.
