Yep, early wander round Friday arvo and some beeyootiful bikes to be seen. Lots of old faces to catch up with and the usual banter.

Forkin cold tho. Howling gale, sleet, nice...  Today's looking better tho, at least from my motel room...

Anyone who isn't here, is missing out.
Big time.

Bill, you should have driven down from which ever suburb of Brisbane you live in.

Returning the VMX love - feels like a Heaven meet in 2006 - Vic, Darran, Glen, Graeme, Jeremy, Gerard, Nev, Stew, Don, Pete, etc etc etc - we're gettin' the band back together!
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

TMBill.its big as cd7 bar the cold wind.so big its hard work to find people in the camp ground.Nathan where r you camped Stan S wznts to catchup.Photos do 1/3 of justice.the yamieco gear is to die for.The welds on the mojo are so sweet.life is great at cd9.The view of tracks are breath taking, watching these riders rolling below in the valleys. .The rocks are exposed now,but the track if forming up well.
So many bikes in 20 acres  8) Not to many quick shades as they got blown and broken in Friday 1,30 am windgust.Though if you got in the skip bin you could make a few new ones up. ;D.
Australia on full vmx show  8)

Yesterday I spent a good hour talking to Blair Harley, Maico,CCM,Cooper,Elstar,Grass track frame importer in the seventies from Sydney.Outstanding stories to tell.He knows the West Aust Gill family of course, due to their distridutating Maico efforts in the west.
Listened to Frank Stansbourgh telling us of his LYTO cottage industry visit story.I call it cottage as its down a little back UK lane with five worker making thousands of hand built alloy tanks.About five a week when its quiet. ;D Those craftmen that have worked in his shed have spread across the globe to create more equisite gear for all kinds of industries.
I look forward to a dirtbike magazine to take the challenge and cover a story on these unique people within
Australia.  :P
