Inporting Parts

 Can Some one help me .
 I am Buying from the US a engine over Haul Kit .
 Parts are all New from a KTM Shop .  Piston , Cylinder and Gasket 
 around $1500.00 will I have to pay Inport Duty ????

 What is the Limit in $$$$$$
And Please forgive me as I cant Spell for Shit ...
And I have very Bad Gramer ...too I been told ......

send it in seperate smaller boxes, cheaper in postage and no duty, specially  if each is under a grand any way.

IF in doubt ask them to post to 2 differant addresses

 The Parts are / will come by post .
 It will have the Invoice cost on Box .
 What is the max $$$$$ be for I have to pay Eg GST Tax Ect

Remember, the cost of post/freight IS included in the value of the item....ie...parts cost $950 and the post is $85 YOU will get charged GST as the total value is now $1035......they also add a few extra charges on top....paper work etc, and dont be caught out posting in 2 separate boxes because if they arrive on the same day at customs YOU will be charged if the totals are over $1000....been there, done that.....safest way when the value is over a grand is to get them to post them at least a week apart.

BUy it on 2 invoices................  then get it posted in 2 lots........... im sure you can figure htis out.  Post one to your mums if you have to
