i have a 1969 250 griffon,the bike is complete & a runner.stripped down for new paint and a good goin over.already had forks reconditioned(staunchions re-hardchromed ,seals etc.),new headstem bearings.wheels ,hubs & brakes seem to be in good serviceable condition.what i do need is the two final drive sprockets , gearbox 13, rear wheel 54 ,any one in oz supply parts for greeves?also need to replace rear shocks ,any suggestions as what might be best suited to this bike?any info much appreciated,cheers Beezagrot

Go with YSS shocks walter will work it out with you what your needs are .

Beeza, I never had anything ot do with pommy sh*t so I'm not certain of my facts. But Noel Shipp down at Woolongong use to sell Greeves and he might be able to help or point you in the right direction. I'ved seen him advertise resto services for truimph so he might be still in business.

Chase him up or ask around for him.

This guy sells blanks which probably can be mechined to fit.

Give Rod McDonald an email. He's been racing Greeves, Dots and all sorts of Brit 2 stroke stuff for years. He can also put you onto Ray Atkins (the Victorian one, not dear old N.S.W Ray) who races the nicest pair of Greeves I've seen. Both of these blokes would know where every Greeves part in Australia is.  [email protected]
