Hey guys, I think I have A live one!!! I have been contacted buy A fellow who wants 2 buy A YZ250 I have for sale...He has offered me $800 more than the asking price (if its too good to be true it always is...). He wants it for his little brother in Tassie, and will have an "agent" collect the bike when he transfers the money over. He will onle pay via paypal, what do you think? Should we have a little fun with this guy?

How's your paypal setup Whitey ?
Take care if it's linked to any of your credit cards/bank accounts.

It will be a fake paypal email he sends you. something like www.paypal.com.( no au or ending in a dot)  Then he will tell you he has paid extra for freight company and that is what the extra money is for. He will then say money not cleared till you pay the agent the $800. He is not after bike, he is after the extra money. There will be no money in paypal account, the emails are a fake. This happened to a Friend of mine. Definately have some fun with him.

You can quickly dump the cash from PP and not release the bike to an 'agent' only to a registered courier. A pommy fellow got to keep the bike and the dosh by doing that. It's against ebay/PP rules to release items to an agent. PP will get the money from the scammers account.
