kilcoy motocross

sidecars are going to do a day at kilcoy motocross track
 on 27th of november went up today and had a look at the track [nice set up ] look forward to seeing lots of people out there, by all accounts they can,t wait to see us lets get as many as we can there .it starts here lets grow this sport !!!!

After a long boring drive to Kilcoy(lama is a slow driver ), we checked out the track (modern but not too much so) As he said, good set-up with sprinklers and lots of helpers everwhere. Plenty of shaded parking in the pits (Note; members apy up to $750.00 p/a for allocated parking close to start gate )
Still-nice open circuit with bermed turns and everything man made-absolutely no skill required and lots of air-time to show off those aerial acrobatics. Lama will be able to stay pinned all day. Looking forward to it. Just need a modern with 15'' of travel and weighing 3kgs.

If you've never been there for a club day, get there EARLY....can't imagine pushing one of those outfits the 3 k's to scruteenering if you get there late. It gets real busy and real narrow quickly. Great layout on a two wheeler....can't imagine taking a sidecar there though...might have to poke out for a look.

A few modern clubs have this set up here in the southwest.They actually buy the pit shed bay,which in turn contributes to the next set of pit sheds getting built..
Though our club looked at a cost of about $300 per annual-haven't implemented it yet..Membership is only $50,so its relatively cheapest in WA
