I have that photo in a magazine somewhere. If I stumble across it, I'll post it.

That's the shot. The one I have was taken from closer and a little further down though.
This one is better I reckon.  ;D
It kinda looks like it might be Andre Malherbe on the Honda??

Fantastic photo; I have it in the Dec 07 issue of Moto magazine.
It notes the event as the 1984 Hawkstone Park GP (UK) with Georges Jobe on #12 leaping over Andre Malherbe - but neither could catch eventual winner Dave Thorpe.
The article also mentions Eric Geboers broke his leg attempting this monster jump.
"Whadaya mean it's too loud?! It's a f*ckin' race bike!! That pipe makes it go louder - and look faster!!"

Cool photo. Jobe was a pretty wild character who was about 10 years ahead of his time stylewise. Whenever the greats are discussed, Jobe is often overlooked which is not a true reflection of his ability on board a 500. He was one of the best in a period of brilliant 500 riders (Malherbe, Nicholl, Thorpe, Carlquist, Geboers etc)

I reckon it's Kurt Nicols bike as it looks like the photo that Dave King used in his advert recently.
