The more I look at this thread the more fun this event  look's. Definately wont make it this year but is for sure on the hit list. For those that have competed can you give the rest of us woody's an idea of what works best on the rear.  It has been asked on a previous post I know but I would just like hear KNOBBY or TRIALS UNIVERSAL. Maybe the promoters have a preference and i would like to that as well.

Have we made 100 entries yet Greg,  have to be close 8)
Dirt track tire vs nobb may be safe to take a spare wheel with a dirt track tire on it ,if you have a spare wheel handy, depends on track condition wet or dry.
But i cant comment to much i havent rode there before

To be honest I wouldn't take the risk. A knobby will work fine in wet or dry. Hopefully, rock hard 6 year old knobbies work OK too, cos that's what's on the IT...

Be good if we crack the 100, but doesn't matter too much. As long as we have some nice big fields in those age races it'll all be good. Maybe I just don't get the whole capacity class thing, but I way prefer all in races on tracks that level the playing field. I remember last year as I worked my way round the track thinking how cool it was to be mixing it up on the 125 with some old Yammie MX thing AND a great big Brit thumper. You don't get that every day! AND... there's a rubber band start. How cool is that?

You'll crack the 100 mark for entries Grega for sure. I reckon you will get at least 10-15 on the day. I think last year we ended up with about 20 on the day. I just feel sorry for those that can't make this unique event. :( :(. They just don't know what they are missing.
Two more sleeps. See ya tomorrow Grega for a clensing ale ( or 2,or 3, or ..........? )
Don't forget for those going, to watch out for the local law enforcement who will be out on the roads around Canowindra, guarenteed.

Do you think they'll still run the ACT day with all the rain Pat? Anyway the Canberra Cup is only 2 weeks away.
