There will be a red KTM 250 in pre 75 that will be almost unbeatable  ;D The bike is perfect and the Gun is loaded.  ;)
Not almost...It was unbeatable...4 from 4, Geoff Ballard 4 from 4 in Pre 85, Burty 8 from 8 in Pre 80 and Pre 90 and also in the Bruce Macfarland race

GREAT EVENT GUYS!!!!

yes, worms left the building early, but I had a fat time riding Saturday, so when the rains came before racing on Sunday, we did practice and 1 rnd of racing in the mud, with Damo lapping me on the line" bastard"!!!!!!!!!!
I got my fill @ upseting a few at scrutineering, but hey there the rules ;D and with the Qantas strike it proved wisely heading early as the amount of traffic on the hwy was crazy, anyway 11hrs later we got home after driving in heavy rains for about 7 of it.

all I can say is    "10 minute plus 1 lap lives" and what a great event, just a shame about the rain.

Cheers Worms, well done guys, but how fast is Dean Burt and Damo ;D

Congratulations to the Hunter Club for putting on such a quality event. It's a pity about the rain but it didn't seem to slow the fast guys down. Congratulations to Burty, GB and the guy on the KTM for their wins and to Brad 090 for making it hard for them. Like Worms I bailed early after getting drenched in the downpour but I saw enough to realise that this event is a welcome addition to the sport.

TV coverage that made it onto the local Newcastle news last night. Cut and paste the link into your web browser, hopefully should work.

Bloody shame about the rain but not much could be done :'(. Stack was almost at wits end after building the track three times and at the end of practice it was such a sweet track. Then it started pissing down as the Pre75s lined up :(

The fact we got through the whole program pretty much on time speak volumes for the team on the day. The flaggies where magic, out in absolute down pours at times for the whole day. Hunter Club members, Ulysses Club members, friends and family did the duties so we could play in the mud 8).

I had a great day regardless of the rain. Took all day today to clean everything and get to see what the Monty looked like again just to make sure I'd brought the right bike home ;D. But hey the worst day at the track is still better than the best day at work ;D.

Seeing so many riders fronting for the Magoo Challenge (it was a CHALLENGE) including all the soon to be crowned Mr VMXs was also great. I could almost see Bruce looking down having a laugh and giving the thumbs up ;) :).

Definitely a meeting to include on your list for next year if at all possible.

Can't thank all that put it on enough for a great event. Despite the torrential rain and difficult conditions it still ran smoothly and although some of the races seemed like a ride for survival, most of the guys still had a big grin at the end of the day.
Although the track was slow due to the rain, the short time out in practice in the dry gave us an idea of how it could have been, and although demanding suited pre 75 pretty well.
Great to have a lively announcer adding that extra bit of excitement to the races with a bit of music and rider interviews, had that original MR MX feel about it.

As a rider it was a top event, the track was water logged but it was still fun to ride (love the commentators reference "through the swim pool" that was gold!), a great effort by all involved and a big thanks to all the officals and flaggies that stood in the rain (and thunder / lighting!) to help us blokes ride.

To stacky and the crew great effort on the track and had it of not rained the track would have been primo for racing, it really was well prepared track.
To the Hunter club what a great effort by all involved and many thanks for making us Queenslanders welcome.
To all the die-hard fans that stood in the pissing down rain, well what else can I say but you are real fans!
Now in my other hat as a sponsor I would have to say lets do it all again next yearso yes I will be back for again for more!
Lets hope it can become a fixture on the events calander and lock it in early everyone.

Regards
Shane Wiltec Wilson
