Damn!! I've got a pretty extensive ADB collection but they're taking up file space I could use. I'll watch this blokes sales and see what the market's like. #1 surprisingly isn't that rare, a few of the later issues with smaller print runs are harder to find. It's kinda like VMX#4 being worth over 4 times more than #1.

I've got the first few years in sequence.  The silverfish have probably chewed them up by now.

I've bought a few over the last month.  Seems that I'm buying the same ones that I bought 25 years ago and then tossed out during a move thinking I'll never need those again  ::)

I thought we were all broke and living in caves? Good to see that somebody is still cashed up.  ;)

Seriously, that is a crazy price. I've got multiple copies of most of the early ADBs so I must be sitting on a gold mine [makes real gold look second hand eh Walter].

I even get a mention in Issue #2 - came 2nd in the Win a YZ80 competition - no bike, instead I got an ADB Jersey [that I still have]. I never let ElDredge forget it!!!!! Maybe that is why I have never owned a Yamaha?  :D

Funnily enough I was just reading #2 this morning, although I hadn't noticed the results of the Win a YZ80 comp (I do recall that comp, I think I entered it...). Nice test of the CZ380 or whatever it is - I never read that test originally as who the Hell wanted a CZ in 1976? The whole style and content of the mag was so good by comparison to what else was around then and it still stacks up today. Though didn't Eldridge look like a young bloke having a yahoo of a time? Check out the TY175 wheelie pic...
