Yea, I havent watched "On any Sunday" for awhile.....O'll Glen Wobblewobbler  ;D up here has those bikes in hiding....its good to here there are a few around.....going by the book I'm reading the Yanks got up to 70% of the bikes made.

I know that those Husky 2 strokes are cool things but if you really want to hit the pre 65 scene with a bit of pizazz, this baby is what you need...a 1963 Husqvarna MC500..

Thats the chop Firko....gotta love that easy rider seat....marC fX will be on to that....is the engine the usual European bitzer Mark?.....what really erk's me on bikes is when people go to all the troble of building a really cool bike and then they hold the front number plate on with zip-ties!!!....we need a front plate zip-tie free zone.

The zip-ties are used to keep the weight under 136 kg.   ;)

Those early 60's Huskies are way cool!

Bitzer? What do you mean by bitzer? That's a genuine Husqvarna MC 500 GP bike and that's the way they were. The engine's a Hedlund, the same as used by Monark and Lito (in fact all three bikes are basically the same except for name and paint) Here's a shot of Klub Kevlars Grand Pooh Bah Frank Stanborough at work on Jonesy's Hedlund destined for his 1959 Monark 500. I agree with you on the zip ties though.

Zip ties may be a modern innovation..but the HVA factory guys had their front number plates held on with a rubber band made out of inner tube cut up...poked thru the number plate and a split pin holding it in place...... That red racer is nice Mark..but wouldn't pass muster here in OZ.... the rear hub is too new....
