Bitzer? What do you mean by bitzer? That's a genuine Husqvarna MC 500 GP bike and that's the way they were. The engine's a Hedlund, the same as used by Monark and Lito (
in fact all three bikes are basically the same except for name and paint) Here's a shot of Klub Kevlars Grand Pooh Bah Frank Stanborough at work on Jonesy's Hedlund destined for his 1959 Monark 500. I agree with you on the zip ties though.
