Photos from 2011 QLD classic scramble
« on: June 25, 2011, 08:41:51 am »
Here are some photos. There are fifteen in total so I won't post them all.

No one was seriously injured and all lined up in the restart.
You don't have to be, but it helps.

I can't take credit for these excellent shots, these are the work of a great hobby photographer named Ralph Davey. I was the swinger on the Yamaha powered EML #270 owned by Matt Moloney. The best quality action shots I have seen for a while. ;D

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

Top stuff. You sidecar guys certainly like to get each other involved in the fun! Still, what happened to get so out of shape BEFORE the jump?

Bike 270 got loose and took 25s handlebars out when he rejoined the fray. From there on it was "stacks on!!"
Looks very scarey but not too bad as it's quite slowish there.

I wouldn't call it loose, just a wide line into the first corner to get around the pack
