 Down in the west Texas town of Elpaso ;D ;D ;D.  Sure is a resemblance there.

Now that you mention it, Slider , there is a resemblance to MR there , but considering what Pete will be riding, the most appropriate Marty Robbins song might be " Big Iron "

Rode at Cactus speedway in Texas last night,not a big meeting,very hot(107 degrees),we had some bike trouble and managed 2 third places (vintage twin class and over 45 years class).
Worked all day today and seem to have cured the problems,leave Bill Davis tomorrow to begin trip north to Ohio to race on the 23rd.
Really enjoying the people and Texas.

Don't need glasses . Low pipes where scrapping track so high pipes got fitted next day. Note Pete is running a 18 inch Mita rear as all the other riders ran Eagle's both ends. Hence the roost.
