If the angular lines of the Montessa Metisse dont tickle your fancy then you can fit a body kit that utilises the curves of the Petite Metisse / MK3 Metisse.
The same kit also fits the Rickman Zundapp.
Talk to Firko, he'll tell you about it.
Flower Pot Men...Bill and
Ben....the
Penny just dropped
. I'm getting a bit slower on the uptake the older I get Ben, I didn't realise it was you
. I owe you a long update letter so hopefully you'll get something before Christmas. As far as the MK3 fibreglass for Rickman Montesa and Zundapps go, I can fully reccommend Bens glass kit. The quality is unbelievable, far, far better than the original Avon stuff which in itself was excellent.
I've been sidetracked on other projects and haven't got to start on my little Micro but I hope to get into it in the first half of next year. To keep the bike in line with my Cheney RT1 and Hindall DT1 I've decided to go with a DT1 engine to create a sort of Yamaha aftermarket framed trio. The Maico engine is going into one of my Sprite frames to build a replica of Terry Chalinors works Sprite of 1968.
Oh yeah...........a belated welcome to the forum mate
