Its not his birthday till January 09,
but if you want to know more about Firko, buy the June ADB mag and have a read. :'( :'( :'( :'(he's leaving ADB Mag(or left already)  :'( :'( :'(.
Pray to the Gods VMX is not lost for ever in this modern magazine..
Also July ADB has the Joel Roberts CD5 story in it.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

i felt myself privileged to have been able to meet and hang out with firko and the klub kevla gang around the motto farm hotel barbie on friday nite at cd5.  firko can't help but play the genial 'falstaff' style host, welcoming in newcomers and listening in to all ten or more conversations/bragging fests going on around him, fielding questions coming out from several to resolve debates on model changes/bike comparos/australian mx history/'what happened to so and so?' qu's all thru the nite.

i heard a heap of fabulous stories about the seventies mx revolution in oz from guys who were there racing (at all levels including pro's), and have all stayed in touch since - a hundred percent real band of brothers.

i was privileged indeed - thanks for keeping the kevla tradition going firko - they stand for something.
