First week of my summer holidays my son & I finally finished project XR200, 1980 RU model, last of the twin shockers, wadda sweet lil' bike!
So we set out to do some trail riding - just like the old days on my old stomping grounds. I've also got a mid 70's DT100 so that was my ride along with my 6 yr old boy perched up front - he likes to see ahead & hold the handlebar cross brace. We had a lot of fun trailing around in the summer sun, maybe more so than motocrossing that old beast of mine.
That little DT has got the most split personality I've ever seen in a bike, happy just to slog up the narliest hill(two up) then wind it open on some long flat stretch & she just screams like there's no limit(nothing escapes my shed without a little porting etc...).

There's a lot to be said for the little things in life counting for more & having fun on old trailies is one of them.

This Suzuki TS90 was to be our pitbike for CD5 but other projects knocked it out of the way. The engine has been rebuilt so all it needs now is to put it back together. No resto on this one. It's staying as is only cleaned up a bit. I've always had a soft spot for Honchos. I've got a TC100 as well.
