I've told her she's gotta keep those elbows up more.
If it had been the latest 'Country Road' cataloge Simon was handing out then Ian'd be a dead man....... ;)

I wasnt there, still recovering from injuries from the last Viper Round, but a mildly intoxicated spectator sitting in Bay 13 at the Knox Club Cricket Ground reckons it was the 2nd best hip & shoulder he'd ever seen, Dermot Brereton would have been proud, all taken in good fun apparently.

On a serious note, some really bad news prior to the last Viper round at Blue Rock, young Jack Gorman asked me if he could ride my 490 Maico. Jack being a talented young rider & a great kid, of course I said go for it Jack. Seen Jack limping real bad before he went out for practice & I asked him what was wrong with his foot, he said it's ok, had it for ages, dr's are looking at it, get the results back next week, well Jack rode the bike awesome showed what a fast kid can do on a Maico, the bad part is, Jack's right foot was amputated on Tuesday afternoon, f ## n Cancer. Jack is in St Vincents hospital, I spoke with him today on the phone, feeling down but desperate to ride as soon as they can get him setup with a right foot. Life Sucks sometimes.

With the recent Zero tolerance policy of the AFL the NRL & that other woozzy round ball game, things look pretty grim for the accused. I guess its up to Maico Stu & the rest of the hanging judges to adjudicate on this outragious breach of our strict code of conduct when the boys are 3 qtrs full of grog  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Mr Maico #54 hiccup !!

Yep, life turns to shit sometimes. I sincerely  hope young Jack gets an all clear down the line and can get back to as normal a life as quickly as possible.

That is some bad news for jack and l am so sorry to hear about it, we have a great fellow and member in the CLassic Scramble Club and his name is Jim Watson and he rides with one leg, some times it falls off but we look for it and he puts it back on. Jim was an A grade rider in the 70`s, and he still is to me, his son racers they both race 250 and 400 KTM pre 75, and both are a real asset to our club. All l can say to young Jack is that this sport needs men like you, so chin up and we will see you at the next race meeting with a big smile on your face mate, and it will be great to see you  use your race mates for traction. Go Jack.
