rm250 T springs
« on: September 20, 2010, 05:40:09 pm »
I have a tarted up RM250 T which I ride regularly on a "natural" type track. It has stock shocks that damp OK but the springs are pathetically soft for 95 k ride weight. Does anyone know a commonly available ( wrecker ) spring that will fit. Spring length on shock is 165 mm , ID 50mm. I am thinking something like CR80 prolink springs. Need to get to a wrecker with a tape measure and calliper.

PE springs will definitely be too soft for a 95 kg rider. I have some WP dual springs but they would be too hard i reckon as they have really thick wire, plus they are not progressive. From memory they are 280mm long which i reckon is probably too long for dual spring set up but i would have to check.

Yeah my WP springs will be too long for you anyway then. If you want to go the wrecker option look at RM80, KX 60, KX80 shocks. theres tonnes of those around and they might work.
