Just a update pic. The project is still moving along. Had the fork sliders repaired now so I just need to get them painted along with a few other bits and 'Thunderbirds are go!'. Now, I just have to beat the chamber into submission, make a brake rod and cables, a wiring loom, decals, make footpeg assemblies, split the atom etc........... Well, it should be ready for HBBB at least...maybe even for 3 Bridges.
The condition of the finish of the engine is a pain but the thing has been rebuilt and not fired a shot. I hate to completely strip an engine just for paint. The stator cover is getting some fresh colour and I might try find some engine spray close in colour to give the rest a quick jam job
. One comment I got was the effect is the same as having a new suit but wearing old shoes.
