I noticed that the seller of this Phantom became a forum member this week. I guess he'd be watching this thread?

Those reserves aren't a true indication of what someone is willing to pay though. The high bidder could have bid $6000 but will only go as high as last persons bid that they beat, unless they bid high enough to reach the reserve

Am also missing VMX No. 22 and I notice it's not available as a back issue any more.  Anybody able to give us a rundown on Peter Drakeford's column on the Phantom please.   Cheers,   T250.

And there I was thinking that an auction, and especially Ebay, was a competitive way of getting the best price ??? :-[

must be an "In Joke" as it went over my head, draky talks about a mate he refers to as "Wheeler Dealer"  no mention of any Ossa'a though

FYI guys, VMX issue #22 is sold out here, but can still be bought (along with issue #23 for that matter) from Trials and MX News in the UK.  It will cost a bit more to get it posted to OZ, but it IS available... ;)

And T & MX News also have undamaged copies of #1,7 & 12 for those that are looking for them!

Just google Trials and Motocross News and you'll find their web site....
