Hi David that is a nice one my mate had one is his shed it was his brothers I always wanted to have a go on it but my mate said his brother had done the wheels and it always pulled to one side ;D but unfortunetly the bike burnt in the bushfires with other nice bikes I know my mate has a pic some where of the frame and pool of metal that was left from it but even the frame was buckled from the heat that fire was huge.

Well Michael, l am sorry to here that story, a friend of mine had the same scenairo dueing the Ash wednesday Fires, His bike was a manx norton 500, same deal.

Mark, she is a ripper, l am the third owner. my friend bought it new in 1972.

Are you going to be racing it Dave my mates took a bit to kick over where did this one come from Aus did many actually come to aus.

Yes, Michael, This one is aN Australian import, l was racing at the time when this bike was bought new, by my friend in 1972

Dave does this mean that the OSSAs you sold the DT2MX to finance are also on the dispatch dock? You really do live up to your reputation mate....I was just looking at Roger Harvey's cartoon on page 76 of VMX # 35 and notice that Rog has imortaslised you and your 'hobby' back in 2008.

Well true to form, Dave has the OSSAs listed on eBay this morning. Check out his 'other items' to see the full list. There's some nice stuff in there, I'd love the Stiletto myself if I didn't have so many projects.

Actually they do a few other things as well, but we won't go into that. Cool compact 500cc engine crying out for a chassis. Its got me beat, by early 70s BSA had access to the works GP and Cheney chassis but managed to produce a frame that was both flexible and heavy which is no mean trick.
