That be good Bud but Louee's a bit cold at night
at the moment. October on it starts to warm up.
We should lock in a date.

As for PRE 90 I'm told if Heaven dosen't pick it up next year there is a
modern club based in Sydney keen to accommodate PRE 90 and PRE 85
with a combination of MX and Grasstrack so either way we should be racing
them next year in NSW some where. So all is good Doglips.

Hi Dan
Looking forward to racing at the Lakes next week. I didn't get the flyer with the broadcast email but just been sent a copy. The online entry said $50 entry when I had a look but I see the flyer says it's $70 for the two days. Fair enough given there's trophies etc. but I imagine that there would be a fair few people that travel and can't make it for the two days of racing. Is it the same entry fee for just one days' racing?

cheers
Woody

      Hi Dan
Entries closed yesterday for the Evo Challenge.
How many entries did you receive?
Is the plan still to only have 1 hour of practice on Saturday?
No chance of a repeat of last years Evo Challenge at Clarence is there.
Only asking as my son and I would love to ride this track on Saturday but unfortunately the Evo program
doesn't cater for the bikes we currently race. Cheers..........

Wotto,
Entries officially closed yesterday evening but still taking them. Even with the late notification etc there are still good entries so far. Certainly nothing like what we had last year ( they were ecxceptional circumstances ). There will be some entries that will still roll in up until friday night I am sure and even on the morning of the event.
As for the program, it is still the same as originally posted. This is the format that was decided upon for this years event but who know's what format next years committee shall adopt and what the classes will be?
Cheers
Dan

As for PRE 90 I'm told if Heaven dosen't pick it up next year there is a

There is a club that will probably "run it" and they are a great bunch of people, but there are a few catches to it or to put another way, lots of work involved.

You must join the Club

You must form a sub-comittee

You must have good financial plan , dont expect them to run a meeting with out a financial plan , they wont entertain losing money just for the fun of running a meeting.

Try and bring some sponsors

You must develop a team , also club members, to execute the works required to set up the meetings

You must find the course to run on

With the assistance / overview of the club Sec. , You will be required to handle all the administration associated with the meeting including applications to MNSW , organising the Ambo's , flaggies etc.

If required ,You must if required , liase with the landowners and handle the track licensing including inspections if required.(If its an existing facility , well just the general requirements apply)

Generally you need a good team and must be self sufficient. (Thats all they asked and thats very fair and reasonable)

The club will supply officials to run the event, providing you have given sufficient notice of your intention to run a meeting

If you are very organised and go about your business with little fuss they are a great resourse to use.

We are members and have run a number of successful motor cycling events with the club , which have been loads of fun.

Its certainly not easy but it is loads of fun

Hi Shoey, so it's not just a rumor I've heard. Which club is it? I for 1 would be keen to be involved
with the organising side of things. I don't believe the sponsorship would be too difficult to arrange, with
the attraction of a stylish newsletter/race program businesses would be more likley to come on board.
I would rather Hevean VMX to pickup Pre 90 and run with it but if it has to be another club so be it. Cheers.....

Talk to Damo , i think Damo may have spoken with one of the club officials at recent event.

I myself, have no interest in running moto cross meetings.

I also agree that it would be good for the Heaven Club to host the pre-90 , maybe not at the moment but definetley in a few years. I'm out of touch with the moto cross and Heaven thing so my views in respect to classes is just an observation.
