CMD are you seriously after a 1984 KX500?? I would have thought a KX80 would have been a wiser choice given your riding ability (lack thereof).

mate - very poor of you using my material - just recently I asked whether the YZ80 you were chasing parts for might be more to your liking - get original buddy!  And best I not come to Nzud otherwise you will be embarassed by my bum all day long ! 

but yes - either a KX or RM.

Has anyone got a rear brake backing plate or know of an equivalent for the big 500 ??

Nice bike that one,but I personally cant stand the 1980 tank stickers on the full floaters.MXM now make stickers for 1981-1984 models so theres no excuse for this in future.

suzuki43,doubt that those rims would be allowed in our shed either    but always good to look at others ideas..
A girl question...how can you tell if they are a 500 or 465 rim/hubs ??

Hi Allison,the 465 and 500 rears should be the same I think the fronts are also the same just the front backing plates will differ.
