Firko, on most go carts the front wheels have bearings built into them, there is no hub persay, like a car set up. If you want to drive the wheels you will need the rear rims, axle and flanges.

Firko alot of the modern Euro karts circa 2000 upwards also (DPE karts - Drew Price - Arrow karts/monaco GP in Mulgrave Vic) have the seperate front hubs to bolt front rims like the rear. The front hubs have the bearings and come in different widths and i think 2 different bearing diameters.
Its hard to get hold of 2nd hand because most people keep them for wets.....like me ;D
Sometimes they go for higher than a new set.
Check DPE karts site
I use/used AGP (australian go-kart spares)in Springvale,Melb and they sell online from memory.
There is a price list/catalogue from what i remember.
Bob and Marg Ulhorn are great to deal with and they may have 2nds for you.

I am really inclined to think, that firko has his ankle in mind and is indeed "thinking forward" about travelling from camp to camp with a matching trailer to cart the margarita blending machine on, at CD8.

The trouble is firko, you would know as well as anyone that design is top heavy with a dangerous CG. There is a good, no, highly Probable chance that on the way back to your own camp, at say 1am. that you could end upside down in a ditch with a margarita machine and an esky on top of you. Try explaining that one at the local ED.

Hey firko, do you not remember the incident down at the local quarry when you were going to show your neigbour "how to ride" his new TS400 Apache?

I wish I could find where I put that. I will never forget reading that! it was the funniest thing I ever read in my life.

I reckon you'd want knobby tyres though as those slick tyres would just spin on slightly dewy grass. Wheelbarrow wheels maybe? Also a little more ground clearance to avoid getting stuck on the smallest little bumps. That one would be good on hard ground though (tar/concrete)

Ah Mick, you've fallen into my evil trap. Sadly, I'm not building a racing bar stool, not with my crook sense of balance and those teeny weeny wheels on uneven dirt ground! I thought I'd throw that photo in to put you guys off the trail for a while but this appears to be growing legs so it's best to nip it in the bud before it grows into a monster. I'm building a project with go cart wheels but it's nothing  near as dangerous as a bar stool!
Here's the Suzuki story.
