Motorcycle Action Pictorial
« on: July 05, 2010, 11:28:50 pm »
Just found this publication in a suitcase full of 70's stuff. Does anyone remember it? It has got some great Australian Scramble, Dirt track and Road Racing photo's in it. I will post some of these photo's as I get time but being all black and white a lot are too dark to scan.

Stan.

Who's the "Australia's leading photographer" as described on the cover Stan?
At a guess.....Bill Meyer? Cool shot of Morlang too.

Gday Mark, yes your spot on, it was Bill Meyer, it goes on to say he was using Ricoh Singlex TLS equipment.

if so, he was no slouch on a slider.

Hey Vandy
Yeah , Greg has a son Tony and, as you say, was no slouch on a slider, from memory he rode with the same number as Greg, #25 , I have a photo of him at Wagga leading Ray Dole Jnr, Tony Day etc but its not good enough quality to post.

That's cool, Stan!!
If you want to, email me the one of Keith Davies and I'll do a resto on it. As long as I can keep a copy for myself.  ;)
It is indeed, a great shot.
