The Yamaha Bible
« on: December 29, 2007, 09:00:17 pm »
If you like Yamaha dirtbikes then this is for you. The book is my bible and it tells you very interesting things about all the dirt bikes yamaha made up to and including 1985. What more could a VMXer want?

Sunday schools are held here at the YZ Rest Home............. ;D

Sorry KB, and if I told you where I got it from it will only make you angry but the price I paid for it will make you feel happy again though.
At the back of the book it has all the specs for all the different models and it even had the porting specs for the 80/81; 82/83; 84/85 YZ250's.
The book tells you how the bike fared in competition and if it was any good and it also explains alot of how the 'Works Riders' did in the same year.
Its a must have book for the yammie fan or VMXer even if you only read it once.

Our local library had a copy for some time, but it's disappeared. Strangely enough..................  ::)
I had been searching eBay worldwide for my own copy for a couple of years and only ever saw 2 come up. One I bailed out on and it sold for just over $US200.00.  :o
The other one I bought for just over $US150.00 I think.
So Freaky, get us those details, I'll buy every one he's got at that price. I know quite a few guys up here who would want one.

I got my copy a couple years ago for $nz120 and it came from your "Great Southern Land", maybe its from your library Tony  ;D.  It is the sort of book that you can get at an out of the way second hand book shop for $5 or $us250 fighting against everyone in the world.

I've already got one, and only wanted another if it was $24.00  ;D
And yeah, I probably paid too much, but after a couple of years searching I was just still thrilled to finally get one.
DJ, you'll know it if it was 'ours' It would have Barossa Public Library' stamped in it. If it has, I don't want to know................  :D
