Thanks to all at CD7
To Brad, Wayne, Stewart, John, Zane, Burt, Kiwi Boys, Ash, Jack , Tony thanks for the Cr hub the SCMCC VMX mag and anyone else who helped me through the weekend. Sore guts from laughing, sore body from riding, sore head from drinking, big smile on face! ;D
Great to get back on my bikes after big stack on Australia Day and what a place to do it! This has been the most freindly Bike Meet I have ever been to. Everyone was having a great time and all were welcoming to talk about their bikes and tricks to fix them! Lernt more in one weekend than I could remember ?
What a sport to be proud of and for all ages to embrace.
Cheers

Gday all,
As this was the first cd i have ridden in i would like to thank the who's who that organized everything connected to the event!!! you are the ones that made so many people happy. The memories the bikes bought back were priceless and that wonderful smell of the mighty 2 strokes but the stand out for me were all of the people that helped a newby on an old husky, nothing was to much trouble for anyone that i asked.
 :o I learned a few thinks too,
 # Don't drink red wine with Euro Bikes or 500evo you wont win they will beat you with experience  :P :'(
 # Don't tell Noel Harker that huskies are better than Maico's  :D ;D
 # Don't get all excited and take off on the enduro loop with out putting fuel in your bike  :o
I had the best time i have had in years i was so sore when i got home i just loosened the tie downs and flopped on the lounge. Where is it on next year or is it to soon to ask?
                                Thanks Again!
                                  Husky AU ;D

Hi Paul,
The club is getting over this one first, as Noel said, some of us have been out there for weeks and months before this. I too learnt heaps.  Man, you should write a book on 2-stroke tuning!  Thanks for the ride on the Husky Auto too - just awesome!
Cheers,
Gary

Not long back from CD 7, Long trip but worth every Klm. Thanks to all involved and special thanks to Macca for the road trip(snorefest aside  ;D).What an Event, what a setting and what a track. Bring on CD 8. Met some great people, saw some awesome bikes, and rode, I think one of the best track I ever have.
Mark.

Just got home at 6pm tonight. Very long drive 3900 klm's all up but well worth it. What a great event. We took 2 non VMX followers with us and they had a ball the same as we did. One is even talking about getting a VMX bike to restore. I met lots of freindly and interesting people over the weekend and was able to put some faces to forum names. Had a great time on Saturday night with Doggy Digger, Number 8 and D.D. Congrates to all and sundry who had any input in organising or running this fantastic 3 days.
Thanks again.

A big thank you to the people who prepared the vinduro loops. I haven't had so much fun for years.  The climbs and descents were fantastic, the creek crossings fun and the grass track sections a blast. The aches and pains are slowly easing from 2 days of VMX heaven.  ;D ;D What venue could beat Connondale for a CD?
