Words fail me...

Saw this on VitalMX. It's weird, bizarre, downright outrageous. I love it...

Only in America.

Graeme , what a cool post .   Did you manage to read some of the replies. One chap said the fastest it ran was 150 mph   whoa .... and in Video clip an amazing 190 MPH
would love to see a pic of butter fly position at that speed .  It is capable of 1000Hp.              What  a master piece of engineering

Firko- check out the blower specs  ;)

I wonder if leaning into courners actually does help it turn? Maybe a confidence thing. Bloody awsome.

I'd hate to get into a tank slapper on that thing,90cc trikes are unstable enough let alone with a blown hemi up front. I too have my doubts about the 200mph speedo- reading. The cynic in me reckons he got that 200mph speedo reading out of it while it was sitting on a stand.

yep, a pulse train input to the speedo when stationary just for the camera's.

If it really can accelerate from 120mph to 200mph that quickly, then the rider would have fallen off the back by 125mph.

Also, the visible flex in the steering shaft (see ~2:20minutes in, amongst others) would make for a very interesting ride at anything over about 60mph...

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

I somehow kind of feel this is the real deal. Power to weight would be outrageous and you notice it's a roll on deal whereby the trike is already traveling at speed which would allow the rider to use some of the power and torque available.  The acceleration seems unbelievable but then watch the 'now old' video of a mere 500hp turbo bussa and you'll realize things can infact accelerate even quicker than this trike without losing the rider. Even if it is over hyped bullshit it's an awesome piece of engineering. Hats off from me..I'm still in awe ;)

Busa has very good aerodynamics, something to hold onto with your knees and a seat pod.
CrazyFrogTrike has the rider's chest acting as a big sail and only his arms to stop him falling off.

The leaning into corners is probably about compensating for the body roll.

Its one of those things that does its own sort of cool, even though it doesn't do much for me. But I am cynical about the apparent performance.

I reckon it's a cool piece of kit and have little doubt the thing would do 200mph but it'd be a pretty wild old ride. With the rider sitting up there in the wind unfaired, I reckon he'd be flat out staying on let alone looking as cool as he's trying to portray. That's not to mention the wind getting up under his dinky shorty helmet and the jolt when he pulled the 'chute. I can remember the 'hit' when pulling the 'chute on our old altered at a mere 150mph and if I wouldn't have been strapped in my nose would have been sliced off by the injector stacks. ;) The more I think of it, the more I reckon the 200mph speedo reading is a fraud.

People forget how fast 200 MPH is you simply wouldn't be able to hang on, It's a cool gadit and well made.

I remember the very first time I ever cracked over 240kph on a bike ( a then new Z1100A shafty back in the 80's). I thought that was scary mind fizzing fast so I've no doubt about what you guys are saying about 200mph. I just feel this machine with 1000hp on tap would do incredible speeds but yes, in the video he seems way too cool and it doesn't stack up but eh, I'd still love to have that thing grace my floorspace even though I dislike trikes and near always veiw them in the same light as Hoony. Maybe if it didn't have the big hemi I'd think differently but nothing gets my adrenaline pumping more than the sound of a lumpy V8 ;)

True, I've done that speed* and you cover roughly 100m per second, and no way in sit up and beg position will you ever hang onto the bars let alone with shades and German helmet on. It might just well have been another monstrocity from OCC screaming "look at me".
