Firko, next years Pre 78 Nats are at Harrisville, a couple of K's from Willowbank Raceway (30k's from Brisbane), awesome track, it will be fast, 4th and 5th of May I'm lead to believe....start getting those old jalopies ready......no excuses for not having 3 or 4 of your bikes there Mark

The only excuse stopping me is the same reason I didn't go to Crystal Brook, my current mobility issues. Hopefully I should be on the road to recovery by then.
"Old Jalopies" I prefer craftsman built specials but whatever we call them, the plan is for them to be there amongst a decent Klub Kevlar support of the pre inaugural '78 Nats. Tony Clarke is signed to ride the Cheney RT1 in pre '70/500 and hopefully my Boyd and Stellings TM400 in pre '75/500. If it looks like it'll be competitive I'll probably also enter the Hindall DT1 in pre '70/250 with another A grade mate aboard. I had a capuchino with Jonesy this morning and he told me that he's intending on entering pre '65 with Black Betty and pre '60 with his Monark 500 GP. We're also planning on an even bigger onslaught of the DT Nats at Canberra.
More new as it comes into the studio .

When i asked Tom why his 79 ?l old clanger Rm400 had a full width hub front and rear, which i thought was a bit poxy and not a conical hub, he replied with a blank look on his face - "Dude i have no idea what your taking about a conical what  "

 - the front brake hub there i said -  'Not sure man,  am i using that part ? '  

Let me tell you he put on a riding display and showed everyone how to ride an old bike at full noise.  very impressive so turn that frown upsidedown, it was like Gally or leisk  in a MR motorcross timewarp....... smooth - worth the admission price, the crowd loved it
