I thought that last berm was just right, but a few jumps need mellowing down a bit. Before lunch the first up hill was blinding in the sun and imposible to see until you were on top of the creek bank [you wouldnt have noticed this getting there after lunch]. Overall the track was excellent and cant wait to get back there. Keep up the good work freakshow. You might have some spare time if you left that yamaha in the shed. :P

TRoy, Found the problem ( about 5hrs to late) the pulsar lead had desoldered, then when i got it home it had lost spark again, now the CDi is on the blink.  I hear you can bake them to reset them ????   not sure if that a wives tale.

Good feedback on the Morning sun though, im trying to get that first uphill moved to the far right one on the angle ( you would have seen it as the right angle which will fix that problem.

That last bern you need to think about a little more in the context of a heavy pre 70 bike its a funnel berm that drains into a hole at the bottom of what is really a big flat hill/ramp, try that from the standstill ?   i can just see it being a bottle neck there, specially if you get a staller or cross up in the hole at the bottom of the ramp and it might be hard for riders to get round them from near a standing start.

Best we sort that out as its not so much about the "can they make it" but more about the 'if we get a log jam in there or a break then we loose track time'.  we are already on the limit of daylight is we have to run all the classes offered.

Same with the little jump at the bottom of the second hill, its goota go.  The club will do everything in its powers to present a perfect track, for the ride of a lifetime, so they welcome constructive feedback like that sun.  ( sorry i left at 8.30 in the moring but took me a little longer to get there than i thought....... ill know next time. but i was knackered when i left so i know i did get plenty of riding in.

The last and jump are staying as they are, if a 4 year old on a pee wee can ride around the berm and over the jump i sure a Rider on their pre 70 can do it. The 1st hill will be used by all the solo's and the Outfits will use the up ramp next to the steep ramp. The 2 creek crossings will be modified before the Titles for the vintage bikes.
The track will not dissappoint.

Duanne,  i hope you right,  but remember this is not about if some 4 yr old on a pee wee can run a ramp, im worried about,  hey Ive seen them jump cars.

Murray williams is going out there for a test ride on the July Practice, on his 500 BSA, he is 74.    he is old and the bike is heavy - If he says its OK im all for it.

IF he says it an issue lets talk offline about, especially if the jump your referring to is the one at the bottom of the second hill crossing.

The Sun issue is a valid point made by a rider who was there and there is no reason why you wouldnt run along the angle hill in both the sidecars and solo events to fix it, rather than risk it.

Taking a step back,  This is never been about wether a 4 yr old can totle around a track and get around it is irrelivant, its about the club presenting the Best possible scramble track in Sept.

We as riders can only pass on the Feedback to ensure your get all the accolades your club deserves for putting on an awesome event.

Putting it into context, the most important thing is to deliver a interesting natural terrain track that can hold up to 29 events per day, if we have to run all classes and not combine any it will be the biggest attempted schedule ever run, if you have one fall, one screw up, one bottle neck, one helicopter ride were all done.  ( back you utes up to light up the track)

The Focus - we need as a group to ensure,  there is every chance its smooth sailing and as quick to turn around as possible as one badly placed track point, rain, design flaw can impact dramatically on the ability of the event to be finished and completed on time.   Duane, I wouldnt be so fixed in your assement this far out from the event.

That track will not dissapoint, but with 4 months to go lets make it perfect and the one event to beat !

Duanne You have me email please use it. ;)

I applied online and everything very successful.  My question is this though.

When looking at the actual application form, which also has the provision for the hire of a transponder. How do i go about the hire of transponder, as that isn't taken care of with the online application.

Not complaining just bringing it to light.  I'll send a required email etc to ask for a transponder etc

let us know the outcome plz Tossa
5.1 entry includes one transponder...though if you require an extra it will cost you $20 per extra bike.
I'm sure riders just change them over for each race-time permitted...Freaky ??
cheers A

Having not read the Regs fully only the Entry Form, that point is not explained.  Until your wise person informs me.  Thanks for the clarification.  See you over the weekend

YOU need one per bike=class.

I.E if you ride you PRe 75 250 you pay $180 that gets you a class ride and your age group.  = 2 classes
IF you have another bike say an all powers you'll need a transponder for it $20.
IF you ride a Evo bike you need a transponder for it.

when you enter the classes ( other than the pre 75 age class, with a new bike you Just need to add the $20 to your entry every time.

ie $180+ $20+$20 =$220 that will get you and 3 bikes above on the track, in 4 events.

Then i would strongly suggest you pay $20 and get your name down for the 3 course meal on the sat night, hot and tasty after racing all day you be mad not to do it !
