EML the track is soil on hard pack base....no sand.  Probably rock under it all but never shows thru...too well maintained by the minibke dads.
The hills are good and steep but not overly tough, just a good test for power and skill.

What a grouse looking track! That old Monty looks the goods (pity about the weird little number plate ) That's the sort of stuff Evo + bikes should be racing on.....

Yes Ross (he of the LOUD front number plate, you know what they say big number plate, small...........) the old Monty went like a rocket  . The HARDMAN just passed Birko and I, hit the big table top and stopped dead with a furccced wheel. We just managed to go one either side of him Oh so close.

Really great weekends racing. Sitting on the start line just after the Sunday afternoon shower it was just, well, Heaven

Yeh its a great track and the people in the Lakes Club ( who run the track ) are a great bunch of people who are only to willing to help us vintage guys out. Even if we don't get the Nats there next year, maybe 2012 , who knows. I'd still encourage vintage guys to come and have a ride at this track as it is a ball of fun to ride.
