YamahA IT Warning Decals
« on: March 31, 2010, 10:30:10 am »
Hi,
I was looking through the ADB mag with the IT465/PE400 comparo, and one of the pics shows a warning decal on the IT tank near the fuel cap. The writing cannot be read as it is too fine and blurry. Just wondering if any of you guys/girls know what is written on that decal, and the dimensions, so I could get some made.

Cheers
Adam

Thanks everyone, I'm on Jock's forum and have asked there too. Thought one of the Yamaha guru's here may know what is printed on it.
Jock, that's not what I'm after, the one in the pic i'm refering to looks to be about 50mm x 20mm ???. I'm thinking it might be a label for the pre-mix ratio. Can get them done here, just need to know the wording.

Cheers

while were on the subject, does anyone know where to source the boost bottle label "YIPS" printed on it I think?

Rocketfrog,
one of the IT Forum members had them done by Evan at Bathurst Signs in Launcestern TAS. I have a couple here as spares, I will see if the guy i'm dealing with here in Sydney can replicate them as well.
He told me today, that he could do an A4 size page with all the warning decals for $15-20. I just need some scans and dimensions of the fuel tank one i'm chasing, and the KYB one on the LH fork leg on the IT. I have the one on the nitrogen resevoir. Would be a good finishing touch to the resto.

Cheers
