Hmmm , he was cyber stalking me for parts i did not want to sell some time back, some very weird emails came from him.

Just to clear up my earlier Post, it was Todd Applegate that was sending me the strange and weird emails some time back.

i wasn't referring to Brendan from "The Bike Boneyard"  he has always replied to my emails for parts promptly and been very helpful and i have had no problems there.

Yeah that was my stuff up Hoony. I got confused for some reason and wrongly outed Brendan as being a crook. Brendan's in fact a level shooter, I've bought stuff from him with no problem whatsoever. His prices are very reasonable as well.
Todd Applegate however is as dodgy as dog poo. A few years ago I put an ad on the Swapmeet looking for something or the other (can't remember what) and Todd emailed me with an offer of the needed parts at some astronomical price. Luckily I'd heard of his reputation so I declined his offer. After that a series of strange emails started coming, some telling me that seeing that he'd already sent me the parts on spec, because "he respected my work for VMX" it was expected that I pay him straight away. When I asked him where he got my address from and informing him that I had no intention of paying him he got abusive and threatened to "out me to the VMX community as a crook"! He's definitely a nutcase......By the way, the parts never did arrive (as expected.)

no problem Firko, i just wanted to be clear to what my post was referring to, as it was a bit ambiguous. i should have worded it differently , it's now corrected.

the emails i got was very strange indeed, i can only assume he got my email from a bike i advertised on the site, he wanted parts only and literally bombarded me with emails every day for weeks even though i made it clear i wasn't selling bits only the bike.
