Yup. What a grouse day. New Viper formula works a treat (three rounds per class  ;)) and a few of us found out that we'd bitten off more than we could chew with entering so many classes. :P
Well done to the Bluerock club for providing yet again another awesome track. Big thank you to Dawn Baker for putting everything together during the week when she's had a lot of other stuff going on as well and single-handedly doing the lap-scoring. You're a darling. :-*

As for the 465. What can I say? It's gotta be the hole-shot king. Gallons of power, fantastic suspension/handling and just tons of fun to ride. My only regret is that Arno now has himself one and I can see it's going to be a year of tussling with this smooth operator :D.
The competition just seemed to fade away......
KB (or "The dominator") as he's now known, blitzed the competition, Billet YZ rode some tough classes and Ian trophied in his first meeting in nearly nine years (and a coupla thousand beers :D).

Apologise's to Caps for filling the front of that nice new 480 in. He got back at me by sending his little brother out on some old crapper that went on to run into me all the way around the track..... :D

Indeed, a great day. Top job by the Blue Rock club & VIPER committee.

A huge thank you to Hilly for lending me his IT200 when my RM got a flat tyre. It would've been a very brief day for me otherwise.

Great Day, Great Event, Track was perfect.
A big shout out to the Baker clan. From what i was told Dawn was the sole lap scorer on the day. A true supporter of the Bluerock MCC and VIPER. Thanks Dawn, your a legend.

And for your husband, he's a bit of a sook.  ;D
Caught him crying at the finish line, what's the go there?

What could have been hey? 2 second overalls in two different classes. 1 class with no third gear after the first race, man it's hard to ride without third. The other class was a bit of a frustration, last race I needed to win as I had a 2nd and a 1st, with the other guy having a 1st & 2nd, so it was a shootout betwen us for the overall win. The whole row of gates on the RHS of the grid didn't drop! I was sitting on the line waiting for the red flag when the starter directed me around the gates with the rest of the field at the end of the straight and around the first corner! Head down bum up, rode like a madman and managed to get into third after the three laps with first & second not too far away, which put me 2nd overall. If only they were 4 lap races. I too must congratulate VIPER & the Blue Rock people. The track was unreal and I had a ball, although the speeding fine at 5:30am on the way down was a tad harsh.
Cheers,
K
