Ahhh... so that's what you were trying to do by giving me a ride - sell it to me  :P
It is a sweet little bike and if the missus hadn't said "11 bikes is enough" it'd be sold ;D ;D.  That extra neutral thing was a tad annoying, but easily sorted I imagine.  Goes very nicely and was HEAPS of fun to ride.

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

You must be close to my work Vandy.
You can get the dogs cut back and rehardened-don't throw those gears away.
Mine always jumped out of 3rd and I used to wait weeks for Yamaha NZ to get them in for me. I was mad as hell when I found out I could have got them repaired.

You'll need some-one with a milling machine and then harden them again.
Most modern engineering shops shpuld do it or know some-one that can.

I don't know what the new ones cost but back in the day I had to wait weeks sometimes to get them.
I guess if they are no longer stocked it would be the best option or if you know someone with the gear to do the repairs.

gears are in plentifull supply on ebay.
i've already spoken with a guy that can recut gear dogs and i think it's around $70~ish per dog/gear group.
ebay looks pretty cheap by comparison.
anyway,
who's gonna take some stuff out of my shed?

Now I'll have to go back to the top and see what was on the list.
How much for the 23'' fr wheel/Udy had one on the DR500 sidecar to make it steer.

thanks for whacking that up Freaky.
this is my MX250a thats for sale & this is my brother on it at the conondale Nats.
the bike runs crisp as with new bearing seals bore piston crank rod etc but has the problem of jumping into neutral when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd only. all other gear functions work perfectly.

Hey vandy my MX250A had the same problem, we found the end of the selector had broken off

a few bit 'n' bobs have found thier way out of the shed and thanks to the guys that have shown interest and taken stuff.
a few things still need to find a good home though.
for those people that have expressed interest in the MX250.
i took it to our BMCC meeting on sunday,
i advertised it for sale, then took it out in the last 2 races of the day.
a 2nd place, followed by a 1st,
 in it's  "for sale" condition.
the bike is the goods.
i'll give this thread another week and then delete it.
