selling my VR250 1974
has ported eng hand made pipe new tyres
mullhollend shocks new plastics, chain, chain guide,wheel bearings
forks set up new air filter well set up bike just fitted new c3 gearbox bearings
very fast bike wont find a better one
comes with spare eng cases,crank,barrel,head,gearbox, rear wheel
and a box of bits putting on ebay if no interest here
$4500  the lot

Holeshot nice bike. Years ago back in the 90`s l sold my VR 250 74 MODEL to a fellow with the name John, he drove down from Brisbane in a ford falcon XD model sedan and drove off, never sore the bike again, have you fellows see a vr in excellent condition racing around, l don`t want it just interested in knowing.

but i thought it came from marybourough qld

My bike had white or opac guards at the time, l think, l do have a photo of it.

I bought a VR250 off a guy in Brisbane a few years ago that looked like it was a well set up race bike at one time. It had Konis on it that were moved forward on the swingarm and modified rear frame with the top shock mounts moved forward also.

dav the fork triples and handlebar clamp bolts are all drilled and hollowed
if that rings a bell ???

I will post a photo of the bike soon, my vr had polished engine cases, same tank which was brand new from lyall o` Brien.
