Cyclegod, you are spot on, I had a measure, and realised it wouldn't bolt straight in, but I know a very good machinist, and with his help it should possible to make it slip right in. Of course if all else fails, I have an angle grinder!
As for the rear wheel, I have been thinking of my option, and a crossover shaft is probably a bit to much work, so I am looking at converting to cable operation to solve the problem of the brake being on the wrong side.
I was just having a look at the beast to check some details, and the carbie fitted is a 32mm KEIHIN, so I presume that it may have came from the same Honda as the front end.
