Now now Alvin, no grudges here even if we all know what you're talking about.
That's the first photo I've ever seen of Fraz not on a Slider.
Hey Steve,
Kevin was a Bultaco dealer in the Gong at the time and raced Bullys with much success on dirt and tar (mainly Metrallas in proddy racing). That looks like a Bandito which worked well on both dirt and tar (you'd have to remember Gatesy at Oran Park). How wide are those bars? The spear could have taken out a bunch more people in turn one with a set of them, ;D

I hear you Pete, but you have to remember that I'm 8 years younger than the Spear.
Yeah you're right Carlos could've made even more of an impact with wider bars but in reality his first corner technique was, eye's closed on entry and just hope you pop out the other side.
We grew up hearing stories from Curly about guys like Dave O'Brien, Ray Curtis and other no holds barred riders from that era inc Billy Mack and poor old Carlos along with Dougie Platts I'm sure thought that they had to scratch a line in the sand or be remembered as just another rider.
Fraz = Bully, I'll never forget that.
Hope things are good Pete?

As simple as it gets Doggy, to keep shite out of the throttle.
Even though they were pretty much held flat from go to woe, as with any motorcycling situation the last thing you wanted was a stuck throttle.
