I saw one for Kawasaki in the early 90s. A guy arranges a date with a girl, and sets off on his bike (Zephyr I think). Cut to scenes of him riding twisties etc. Then next scene he's in a phone box in the middle of nowhere, apologising to the girl, saying the bike wouldn't start. I really liked the ad, but I've never seen it since.

it's a road safety campaign MX where anything you could do to increase your visibility to other road users was encouraged ;)

I have the ad in a mag somewhere but, yeah I remember the tv commercial well..the sarge in the jeep and Beetle flying high over the top on the DR250..the landing would have been real interesting but it wasn't shown :o  :D
