Super, you did a great job with what was at hand, and I for one thankyou so much for your efforts, though I speak for all of the sidecar teams for sure.

p.s. Anytime you want a drive on the Wasp I would be happy to passenger for you- you never know, it could be another box to tick.

I ticked that box back in the "60s --short circuit & scrambles on 650 Trump.I'll dig out some photos for you.

Do that !! I looked over some old 60's pic today of Kalgoorlie with a sidecar tipped over in sequence photos.
Kids with home spun jumpers
First aid in suit and hat
Old 44 drums to outline track and the cause of roll over.  :o
2 brothers sidecaring together for over 40 years  :P
Some spectator in the back ground with the old camera filming away ??
Back in the day  8) Fantasic stuff.  8)

Well all the excitment is over and I have had time to reflect on what a great time was had by all, and despite popular belief that the world would end if the the so called moderns mixed it with the classics it didn't ! In fact a pre 75 bike won the event expertly steered by Jamie and passengered by Wayne and If Popeye and Vaughn could get there sidecar to do more than one lap I'm sure the results might have been different but thats sidecar racing. I thank Col for letting us have a race and as he said it was looking doutfull a few weeks before but thanks to all the teams that made the effort to turn up. We are now looking forward to the Sidecar spectacular next year run by the ASA. See you there.
