What the Frock are you thinking of now Hittatree? If I were you I'd stick to the XR80, the cat and the dishwasher-it'll be quicker and handle better. And have a better rinse cycle!!

Maybe he's thinking the below-Hope Graeme M take this thread with us when we go to new site  :P

Down here in Vic there was a very quick (Yes quick!!) SL350 sidecar in the nineties .I think they even raced in the Nats at Ravenswood. I have photos of it in two versions in my archives ,remember the megaphone run straight across the front of outfit ,and it was painted silver and white. I hope someone can fill in the details of who the fellas(  father and son?) were. Tim754.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Two Strokes , Suzuki 500 Titan , Suzuki 750 water bottle, Kawasaki H series Triples or what my boys started out on and had an absolute ball with a rough RT360 Yamaha, light ,plenty of sidecar useful grunt (torque) at the back wheel and shite easy to work on, Just replace the points with a bolt up DT360 CDI set up or whatever. If on points do be wary of the leg shattering kickback......and .... the fun habit of stalling on a hill rolling back and firing up in reverse............ :o  Cheers Tim754

Will find the SL photos and get them off to ya ; Starting to sort though all those memories right now. Lots of smiles here and some not so joyous ones ,like the photo in my claw ,with my son Daniel in it at Rye park track in Colac, sadly it also has our old racing partner Steve on the W1 650 Kawasaki outfit ,may he be resting in peace, with Daniels then partner Trish and his best mate Mat G in it, both grievously lost now to suicide. Still heaps of other happy crap to laugh to myself about so I am off to it. Cheers Tim754

Geoff Udy actually started on an XL350/410 owned by Gino & Georgina Reeves, was very hard to stay with when on the pace.
Gino & Georgie have disappeared with-out a trace so far-the only ones from the old crowd that we haven't found.
Old photos can do that to ya Tim754, and it gets us all , so keep the chin up.
Shite, it'll be great to meet youse all at Broady!!

Two strokes in classic sidecars. Something  worth looking at .  8)

Looks like our sport is about to get belted again with a number of guys finding some single shock two stroke outfits and looking to race next year. Pre 85 of course but not in the scheme of things as I see it. An older DT360 or some such twin shocker wouldn't bother me but the mono shock stuff with a 500cc aircooled engine is very hard to catch.
Will have to wait and see what emerges.
