FBR there is as always 3 or 4 areas to look at, carb ignition, ports and pipe. Ask Noel about his MT IIRC one thing that unleashed about 1500 rpm and a lot of midrange was a sorted cylinder head.
With the MT cylinder, with what we know today you can go far better than the CR cylinder will ever go.Stock carb is tiny but works very well, just depends on how far you want to go and the intended use
