Does anyone know how to get in touch with...
« on: July 08, 2010, 01:36:03 pm »
Does anyone still have contact with Peter Delaney from the Sunshine Coast?  He used to make fantastic centrestands for IT's in the 70's/80's.

Someone told me he may working for the Maleny or Caloundra Council?

I need to get a couple centrestands made for my ISDT IT400C project (and for my project after that - a replica of the IT Prototype), nd was hoping he my be able to do them.

PM me if you know anything.

Thanks

I think I still have his number, I'll check.
He's moved house since he made all the trick stuff for ITs.
Cheers

......I assume you're making a Chris Carter replica, sounds good, keep us informed on hows its going. Did you see the Al Roof version ?? I was wondering why you were after the V- brace bars !

Wasn't the Carter bike originally an MX400 ??

                                     Roger

....Hans Appelgren told me yesterday that a bloke by the name of Mick Baker ( I think that was his name ) was a big IT man back in the day.... anyone know of him ??

Yeah, I've had quite a few emailed conversations with Al.  My Chris Carter ISDT replica will be in the next Trailzone - just sent the article off to Clubby.

Chris Carter had one bike based on the MX400B (ridden in the 1975 Isle of Man ISDT) and one based on the IT400C (ridden in the 1976 Austrian ISDT).  Al's bike (and mine) are replica's of the 1976 Austrian ISDT bikes.

And yep - that's why I wanted the Jones Bars!!   ;D
