Identify these forks.

34mm. Early TT500's?

They look like early DT250/360 without the mudguard mounts but are longer travel and are 'waisted' between the triples.



Could be MX250b except they clamp the axle.



These guides seem original.

All TT/XT 500's are 36mm so they are not off one of those. I reckon DT/MX.

YZ125C.

They're longer overall, but don't actually have more travel than the pre-75 forks.

Also note the drain screw is at the rear of the legs, rather than in the middle like an A model's forks.

Ah yes, MX125C also.

The YZ250B forks have the same 9or at least very similar) upper tubes as the 125C, combined with the smaller, lighter lower legs, from a YZ250A.

I don't know about other differences but the YZ250B and YZ125c differ at the axles.

are YZ250B and 360B forks the same?  If so these aren't 360B forks.

Definatly YZ/MX 125Cs. YZ As and Bs had machined down fork legs as well. What bike are they on with the mudcatchers? If you want to sell them you can pm me, cheers John.

They are described as " '75 b model" but when I got them home I realised they are clamped at the axle like a DT/MX. I didn't buy it for the forks but I was sussing them out. I first thought they might be TT500 - I knew they were generally 36mm but thought these might be first model or sim. I was wanting to get a basis figure to suss them out when I give the old girl a burle. Being intended for a 125 I'm now sussing they will be a bit light in the springing.

I'm not sure what I'll do with them I have lots of mix and match options but they are nearly NOS and if they really, really are of interest to you for a NOS resto PM me. I'm not setting out to sell them and I'm not setting out to profiteer but if you are really interested in them give me an offer 'I can't refuse' .
