Yamaha 1971 CT175 parts.
« on: September 16, 2009, 08:49:53 pm »
Well I was going for a run last night & the needle bearing on the transmission shaft packed it in...........

The shrapnel did a fair bit of damage.
Time to rebuild.

Just wondering if anyone had any parts for one they want to off load, even a complete bike would be good.

I am in the Sydney area but I can & will travel a reasonable distance in necessary, I like my old bike & want to see her live on.

CrossedUp2, DG26 and myself are the local CT1/AT1 weirdos.

I'm sure that between the three of us, we'll be able to keep you mobile.

I've got a pile of spare bits, including several complete bottom ends. There's also most of a bike that I bought recently that I haven't quite worked out what to do with. Its a real roughy, but its a matching number bike which does not deserve to be scrapped.

Ring me during the day (any day) on 04000 23847.

Understand how you feel about the matched bike.

Mine is matching & registered as well so I want to keep it together as long as I can.
I would like an exhaust guard if someone has one as well?

What year model? I've got a couple of exhaust guards, neither of which fit my 72/73 AT1E. If you can measure the distances between the mounting points (front-to-back), I can tell you whether either of my spares will be useful.
