Strange dirtbikes

Maico triple would look great with a sidecar-on each side!!
Seriously-Suzuki and Kawasaki had one so just use theirs.
I recall from the Italian sidecar cross GP in '87, Folan had two Husky barrells together-sounded like a banshee or the second coming of Christ! while a Russian team had two Cagivas in together that sounded very sweet but still ran down the pack.

If you think they're off the wall then you've never seen the photos of the 9 cylinder Kawasakis a guy in the Uk has built, love the engineering that goes into doing something like that properly

hi all not really dirt bike stuff but youd have to remember the bike i think his name was lucky or something like that built with the 2 cylinders chopped of a merlin engine.5000cc v twin then he super charged it.i was reading somewere the other day he lives up north qld now still owns the bike and its in a museum out near toowoomba.hes also built some rocket looking thing with a 4cyl road bike motor and is trying for some speed record.i think the article was in just bikes or similar.cheers gary

that would have been Lucky Kaiser and i think he was Dubbo Based at the time. that was a great peice of engineering albeit totally useless

thats the one hooney his new creation looks just as useless although purpose built for speed.the article i seen was from some speed trialsout in the desert in the middle of oz,he was trying for 200 plus mph but bad weather set in and only managed around 135mph before the track was shut down and event was cancelled.thanx gary

Merlin cylinders? sounds crazy. They were 27litres and 2000+HP @3000rpm, so a twin would be circa 4.5litres and maybe 500HP ! too wild.
