Murray Tainton Montessa April 1975
« on: July 07, 2009, 10:11:10 pm »
These are a series of photo's I managed to borrow off Murray Tainton for historical archiving. Murray rode MX from the late 60's to about 1976 before switching to enduro's. Murray ran the successful BTX motorcycles in Melbourne for over 30 years before retiring late last year.
Somewhere in Victoria April 1975 (Might be at Newry)

Dec 1974 at the Broadford short track.

Check out the mud on top of the motor...........1969 CZ360.

Murray on # 4, the other rider is Gary Adams.

Yes he just shifted to new place up in Montrose about 4 months ago where he will also run a KTM hire bike service. I need to get all his pics back next week for his 60th Birthday party end of the month that should be quite well attended.
He still rides dirtbikes today. I used to love reading about his bike tests in Trail & track, ADB, AMCN way back then.
