Hi Guys, I have just got hold of a Hagon sandtracker chassis which has been set up for a 250 yamaha. My problem is I need to get hold of a pre 75 250 Yamaha motor.Anyone got a motor tucked away somewhere?

my elstar frame looks like it may have originally been designed for a unit constuction set up of some type and the previous owner has fitted an xt500 so maybe you could look at some suitable 4 stroke but be careful of the cut off date for pre 75 where the xt does not comply. cheers wally.

if it is a gen yamaha hagon it will have twin downtube frame at the front,for center port motor,mx yamaha motors will fit ie mx250 mx360 also the dt versions and sc500.pre 75 maico motors will fit as well but i dont know what models they are.
to fit a four stroke motor the fram will need to be modified.
my antig is made for unit motors to fit centre port motor the engine plates run along the sides of the exhurst
