He wanted to win practice pretty bad by the look of it, love it!
a couple of extra teeth on the rear might have helped out of them corners a little.
Great vid! and neat track.
Is that the full track the national guys use?
Maico's, the only way to go.

Hey Squirt, was that Damos mate from a couple of years ago? If it was, imagine the footage when he cartwheeled down the track, that would have been spectacular. That would be about half to two thirds of the Nationals track because the front half was used for the Pre '75 track

Looks like pre 85 bikes where mixing it up with much older bikes.I even saw a modern Suzuki.What gives?

The reason for the modern Suzukis is that they were offered by Suzuki Australia for free test rides all weekend as part of the event sponsorship. Awesome idea. Everyone was let loose for 15 minute blocks for a free test ride. They had 450 4 strokes, 250 4 and 2 strokes and 125 2 strokes to give the lads a great choice of all their products.
